This is my big sister, Kristy DeFehr. I can’t even describe in words what an amazingly talented and beautiful person she is inside and out…and that’s what I do…I describe things with words. It’s very rare I can’t find my tongue, but this young, inspiring lady is honestly unfathomable. Her photography is such a reflection of the compassionate, caring, truthful, and inspiring person she is. It’s amazing, just like her, and it only gets better every day. Quick question!

Hey guys

So I tried to work on my new pages and am very frustrated…I made them all pretty with pictures and laid everything out how I wanted but when I pressed “publish” everything jumbled together and made a big mess. The format totally changed! I kept trying but this happened every time. Anyone know whatsup with this or how to change it?

New Stuff!

Hey everyone

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season! As you may have noticed, I’m making a few new additions to the site in hopes of sparking some new interest! And also to make it a bit more uplifting…my poetry tends to get a little gloomy from time to time so I’m adding some cheer! For example, my blog now snows which is pretty cool if I do say so myself. But I’m also actually adding some new pages so I hope, once they’re up and running, you’ll all check em out and enjoy

Also, I’m pretty excited because I finally bucked up some courage and submitted some of my poems to Chicken Soup for the Soul. I’m praying that maybe, just maaaybe they’ll like one of them enough to publish in their next book! That would be fantastic. I’d probably actually pee myself a little if that happened. So wish me luck!

Another thing I’m most happy about is the novel I’m currently working on. I must say, it is going rather well and I’m really excited! There’s something about these characters…I just love em! They’re practically writing themselves!

My poetry on the other hand has been suffering a little these days…maybe it’s just me but I’m feeling it’s not as good as it was when I was less pleased with my life. I’ll have to find a way to work around my good mood but in the meantime I’ll keep trying my best to keep the posts coming!

Amanda Todd

A young lady committed suicide last night because she was bullied so bad…one photo ruined her life. The harassment, the embarrassment…It makes me sick and it makes me wish so bad I’d have known her…could have reached out a hand, been her friend. Helped somehow. But now nobody can. I’ve said it many times before and I’ll say it again…there is something seriously wrong with society…and it has got to stop.

Many people will be wearing pink on October 15th to raise awareness about Amanda Todd’s story, depression, suicide and bullying.

The Future Beholds

Hey guys. So. I just thought I’d write and let you know that I might not be writing for a while. My main inspiration just broke up with me so…haha. Again. Yeah, that sucks. But! With new challenges comes new opportunity and I’m gunna take this new challenge for all it’s worth. Everything happens for a reason, right? I love him more than life itself so it’s gunna take a while to really get my mojo back, haha, but I’m starting to feel alright about this already. The future brings good things to those who ask for it after all and I believe I’m more than deserving of good things. Just hang in here with me while I work my way through this…whatever this is.

Hurt

Hey guys

So I am working on a poem, I just haven’t been able to get the end right for a while now and I want it to be perfect before I post it. So in the meantime I thought I’d just share the work of and celebrate one of my favorite artists of all time.

This is Hurt by Johnny Cash. It was originally done by Nine Inch Nails so props to them for the lyrics. But in my humble, personal opinion I think it was Johnny who really added life, deep meaning and a certain understanding to the song that touched so many people where they felt it most. Pain is something we all share as humans and he really nailed it with this one.

What is happening…?

Hey guys,

So I dunno if this is happening to anyone else but something extremely annoying and weird keeps happening when I make a post and it’s ruining my poetry and is making me super mad. You may or may not have noticed the random words in posts that get underlined, highlighted and linked to some “Text Enhance” site. I’ve tried editing my posts when this happens, highlighting the word and selecting “unlink” but this does not fix the problem and I don’t know what else to try…This only just started happening now. Random words in all of my posts, even the really old ones, are getting linked to that stupid site…

So my question for you wonderful people is…do you know how to fix it? Or have any ideas of how one might fix it? I’m getting frustrated Waahh. It’s not fair. I’m a pretty anti-media and advertising person and I don’t like that this site is taking advantage and linking itself to my poetry I feel like my art is being invaded by superficial stupidness.

Anyways, a million times thanks to anyone who can let me know how to solve this predicament.

And a million times thanks to all of you anyway for all the support, follows, views, comments, ect. I can’t express enough how awesome you people are.
